i’m the problem, it’s me(?!) 🫠 For a while i’m the problem, it’s me(?!) 🫠

For a while, I assumed it was just me that’s not handling motherhood/life/all the things very well.

Everywhere I looked, it seemed other people had found a rhythm - the house, the kids, the work, the constant mental tabs open - it seemed everyone could make it all work, and I was the one always slightly behind.

I thought maybe if I was a bit more organised, a bit more on top of things, a bit less overwhelmed, everything would all start to feel manageable.

But it turns out I’ve been selling myself short, because the more I’ve truly paid attention, the more I’ve realised how many of us feel like this.

We’re not actually failing, or doing anything wrong. We’re all just stretched.

Trying to keep things moving, keep everyone okay, keep up with everything that needs doing - often at the same time.

It’s very easy to internalise that and make it a personal flaw, when actually, a lot of this just comes down to the volume of what we’re carrying day to day.

And maybe the reason it feels like a lot is because it IS.

So yea, here’s your reminder that you’re not the only one shitting all over yourself. You’re doing better than you think 🤍
